December for GOOD: 4 reasons to make your winter break exciting!
Thinking of doing some good for the community this Holiday Season? TribesforGOOD has some suggestions!
The campaign focuses on supporting small-scale NGOs that are empowering women from underserved communities, who have had difficult experiences with poverty, gender oppression or exploitation. The women are skilled in creating handmade artifacts, bags, jewelry, home decor, etc. and are striving towards self-reliance, one product at a time.
These meaningful products will be up for sale and you can support the women this holiday season by buying these products for yourself or gifting them to your loved ones.
Here are a few suggestions
- Make gift sets for a certain amount and associate with supporting one person.
- Buy products from the NGOs and gift it to children in our other partner NGOs
- Gift your friends and family exclusive Christmas goodies!

2. Raise for GOOD
This Christmas, don’t let our furry friends miss out on the joy!
- Want to be the ‘Secret Santa’ for a furry baby? You can do so by sponsoring their meals for a day!
- We have all come across mysterious cats and kittens in public spaces running in the streets of Bombay, to hide behind cars or buildings. With few people to care for them, street-born kittens have a high risk of dying, getting hurt, or becoming ill. Neutering them can considerably reduce the number of kittens born on the streets. Help a furry friend this season by contributing to a neutering drive!
3. Create for GOOD
Want to do something different this Christmas? Create a Goodie Bag for someone who would appreciate it!
- Send 10 Packets of Goodies with Christmas/ New Year gifts( Sweaters, Books, Shawls, Nuts etc) to 10 children from low income communities.
- You can send it to any of TribesforGood Partner NGOs (address mentioned below) or children from low-income families in your locality. Don’t forget to add a personalized note!
